Adieu Summer Splendor

The summers are over and the gloom has taken over. But I had the perfect hack to having a prolonged summer. I travelled in the month of July to the West and summer was just about beginning. So it’s safe to say I am yet in a Summer Frame of mind.

I am going to start off on a very important & grateful note. It makes me extremely happy to know that, a lot of my blog readers and social media followers resonate with my style, my choice of outfits, styling and my love for accessories. It’s purely this love and appreciation that gets me accolades and recognition professionally in front of potential clients too. While I am ever so grateful and there is no end to how much I appreciate your support, I am specifically mentioning it in today’s post, to tell you all that today’s post is solely thanks to you readers.

In the month of June, I collaborated with Designer Payal Goenka from Mumbai only because I absolutely loved her pieces & the fact that she does customised clothing as well. Her simple yet chic styles, silhouettes really won my heart, to want to represent her. Thanks to the amazing response on our first collaboration, I have collaborated again with Payal Goenka. This time around for her Summer Splendor collection.

Summer SplendorA Collection perfect to float through Summers and make a style statement! With a color palette that will enchant you and cuts that will tantalize you, you are sure to be transported to your Zen!

Let me also add a very important point here, this isn’t the first time a client has wanted to do a repeat collaboration. But it is not every time that I am willing to o it. With all due respect I create content on The Style Chair for the sole reason, that I wish to show my audience new fashion & styles. That is exactly the feel i got when I was shown garments from the same designer who I had just collaborated with two months back. And if you see the pictures from both the shoots you will know exactly what I mean. Oh! Don’t even ask me to make a choice between these garments because all of them are so unique and stunning in their own way.

One of Payal’s signature touches to the outfits are the subtle embellishments or adornments and those spikes especially are so me ❤

A lot of credit for this post goes to the photographer Shiva Sharma. Well I have an innate need to appreciate things I truly admire. I definitely did admire the way Shiva did such a fabulous job with every corner of the location we shot at. My words might fall short but do have a look at the pictures that follow and don’t forget to Check out @ShivaSharmaPhotography on Instagram.

Styled the tassel high low shirt with a dhoti for the contemporary twist and the slick back hair, cuff earrings and boots were my very own badass touch to vibe with the spike on the outfit 😉 It made for such a perfect night look, I could actually picturize myself going for an event or even attending a friend’s wedding sangeet in this outfit.

I actually love doing easy breezy styles. As simple as they may look not everyone gets it right! And the pop of colour of the bag and the walls definitely made my outfit stand out. Here’s an insider: I was supposed to wear a waist belt and somehow didn’t end up packing it in my bag only to realize at the very last minute and that’s when it struck me that I could even tuck in the top right in the middle. I was not only happy to have hacked the situation but I was even happy that it turned out to look absolutely fine. Next time you can try it out with a long top too 🙂
