It’s the New Year and it’s the first post of 2018. Hope you all had a wonderful end to 2017 and have began 2018 with a new rush.
I also want to thank you all for being so kind and appreciative of my NYE Dressing post- Gone Girl ❤
So, to make the year beginning seem special I decided to do a quick post on something different (like I haven’t done before or you all haven’t seen before). TSC needed a fresh new post with a whole new idea for this new year ❤ and I hope you all love this Winter outfit I put together.
I decided to break some winter dressing norms and went ahead to dress up colourful this winter. Don’t we all (including me) assume or prefer to dress rather subtle in the winters. Duller colours and rather simpler prints (plaids) is what winter dressing is generally associated with. Mixing up yellows and reds can be quite risky if not done well or carried off well.
TSC Styling Tip: To play off bright colours chose a rather dull lipstick. If you notice, to make sure this whole look played off well; I went for a mocha shade of lipstick which I don’t do too often.
But I absolutely loved how this outfit turned out to be. So let’s start this year on a positive note of experimentation and breaking rules.

So, the next time someone tells you mustard doesn’t go with red you know what post to show them 😉
Even separately though, having a pair of Plaid pants is a MUST for the winters and of-course the latest trend in Winter Fashion is coloured leather jackets. So go get them and get comfortable wearing them separately; then move on to the experimentation part.
Note: And if you style yourself similarly don’t forget to send me the pictures.
