She’s a Wild Child

For a title like this ideally you would definitely see me in an animal print! But today’s post isn’t about ‘looking wild’ it’s about that Wild Child that lives inside of us, inside of her!

Also I had an unforgettable experience in the wild last month like you all know. For the first time in my life I went for a wildlife safari and infant even lived in the tiger reserve. If you missed this Travel post of mine then Check out the post- My First Wildlife Reserve Experience

The experience of getting up early morning and first spectating a gorgeous sunrise from a painting like view was just marvellous. Shooting at the Pench Jungle Camp was pure bliss owing it to being completely different experience from my regular shoots. Sounds of nature, languors swinging from branch to branch and lurking on, not a soul in sight & the still waters of the pond made for some very stunning reflections.

For the first time I actually used my tripod for a blog shoot. Yes! This whole post except some close-ups were all shot using a tripod. It definitely helped incase of my pictures wherein I wanted my mum to shoot with a particular frame in mind. And the best part that was accolade worthy for me was the fact that I used a self-timer to do the shots of my mother and me.

Now, you know why this trip ended up being quite wild in quite a few different terms.

Be Wild, think out of the box and fear for those thoughts being tamed.

Believe in something and work for it and trust me nothing can hold you back. (Try! Something is better than nothing and that achievement of having even attempted something difficult is good enough.)

Let me also mention how hilarious a scenario it was and how silly we seemed to people (who yet weren’t obvious about being puzzled). Those who wondered why two ladies were so dressed up early morning in the jungle, while a lot of them were yet in their PJs and headed for breakfast. Although it’s quite hilarious and cool, how we can just don’t bother about people and yet do what we like without the fear of being judged.

Hey! Young, Wild & Free, remember! There is no age to enjoy small ‘childish’ things in life, there are no fences and we live by the boundaries we make ourselves. Lastly we are free to feel and behave the way we want as long as we can respect the same and not hamper the freedom of others.

Looks like royal in a thrift store dress

Keeps my heart and her hair a mess

She goes where the wind suggests she goes, who knows

Got a spirit that can’t be tamed

She’s a calico pony on an open plain

I know I’ll never be the same no more, for sure

She’s a wild child

Got a rebel soul with a whole lot of gypsy wild style

She can’t be tied down but for a while

I’ll be falling free and so alive

Might break my heart but God she drives me wild child

You’ve never heard of her favorite band unless you

Been to Bonnaroo or Burning Man

She’s Penny Lane in a Chevy van, she loves to love

She loves me wild child

Got a rebel soul with a whole lot of gypsy wild style

She can’t be tied down but for a while

I’ll be falling free and so alive

Might break my heart but God she drives me wild child

She’ll be here until she runs

Some just have to chase the sun

She’s a wild child

Got a rebel soul with a whole lot of gypsy wild style

She can’t be tied down but for a while

I’ll be falling free and so alive

Might break my heart but God she drives me wild child

A kaleidoscope of colors in her mind child

A touch of crazy hides behind her wild smile

So simple yet experimental

Innocent but still a little wild child

Wild child
