Have you ever wondered how we bloggers or stylists put together such stylish and quirky looks!? Let me tell you a secret. Okay, well it’s not a secret. Its simple, we all need a little inspiration! Whether it’s a fellow blogger or a celebrity or even a friend or something you saw it on a TV show, the ramp or in a magazine. You can get your inspiration just about anywhere and that’s what drives our creative choices.
My agenda for this look was to make this rather plain White Shirt from Wooplr look really stylish. Just like a plain white background works as the best canvas for an artist to create something. That’s exactly what a White Shirt is to me (also the reason I love and hoard white shirts)
Along with the White Shirt, Wooplr sent in this very quirky block printed Bow-Tie. Honestly I love bowties and when I say that, I dont mean just on men I mean on women and myself in particular. I have dawned a (quirky) one a couple of times and I love how it gives an outfit that touch of androgyny. The only way I would wear a bowtie is if its quirky (I’m not sure if Wooplr really knows me that well, but they definitely got this right).
FYI Wooplr was one of the first fashion discovery apps we have had and my association with them dates back to their initial days. I love how they now have a curation of some fabulous designers and brands that have some very unique fashion. Definitely worth a visit if you don’t like shopping the run of the mill kind of stuff.
Coming to where I got the real boho inspiration from!? My all new Dhaaga Satchel bag is the what I define as Boho-Chic. With that Indian print it has that touch of Jaipur-y work, the very boho fringe attachment and the cute bright pom-poms. The chic part is the little handle with this sling bag. Which is pretty much how I would strut around with it, like a briefcase. Even in my recent travel to Jaipur, the Dhaaga juti was so perfect with its indigo look.
If you like a touch of Indian with jutis or bags then don’t forget to check out Dhaaga on Instagram.
