Hello my Beauties! I feel so good to be back to posting blogs regularly, arent you happy too?
So, Today I won’t be talking about any new trends or anything phenomenal in terms of styling that you don’t know of, but yet you shall find this post very interesting because this is a post of a lot of ‘Firsts’ and experimentation for TSC. I plan to just let my thoughts flow, about how this look came about.
When it comes to fashion blogging its absolutely essential that we keep experimenting! How many of you all feel we get monotonous with our styling? Honestly, I myself get bored of seeing styles that are repetitive and while the pictures might be beautiful, the styling is zero!
So keeping that in mind I decided to break my own stereotype and experiment with silver jewelry in this post. The whole idea behind this look started off when I received some very unique silver earrings from @Laavaanya on Instagram (and there is a little something for all of my Indian readers at the end of this post).
Silver being cool toned looks fabulous paired with cool toned attires. My indigo maxi top became the best match for these silver accessories (also I was dying to finally wear Indigo). This Indigo maxi top was a surprise buy just while walking through Johri Bazar in Jaipur and this small little shop had some very stylish indigo outfits as well as those Anokhi kind of dresses. Instead of typically pairing the Indigo top with white pants I opted for chambray. Chambray denims with a frayed hemline (that I frayed myself, tutorial on my YT Channel- The Style Chair).
Never Have I Ever worn Indigo before, its true! I’ve always loved indigo for it’s cool tones and how it has that essence of Indian craftsmanship and yet is contemporary. But somehow never found something unique enough to buy. By now you all know I am definitely not a ‘kurta’ and jeans kind of girl, but a slit maxi top seemed just so ME!
Recently, I spoke about how waiting for the best thing is the way to go on my Insta Stories. Don’t just settle! If you want something specific, then just wait to find that special thing and don’t settle ❤
Never Have I Ever worn a silver nose pin! This was the biggest step I took out of my comfort zone- attempting to wear a nose pin and be clicked in it. For people who have followed me for years know that I never wear nose rings (except experimenting with a septum ring) or nose pins! I just wear my patented little diamond stud on my nose. A fellow blogger friend of mine had bought me a peacock nose pin and I just never found the right opportunity to wear that nose pin. So going with the whole silver jewellery look I decided to finally adorn a nose pin. After a point though, to be honest I removed the nose pin and with a sigh of relief went on with the rest of my shoot (more me).
Never Have I Ever explored the old streets of Pune. I know its really sad but I can explian! Leaving that aside, its better late than never and I’m super stoked that I decided to shoot in the old streets of Pune. This specific one was sheer beauty in just 100 metres. A peaceful Sunday morning spent shooting in the heart of the city, simply exploring the by-lanes of MG Road was an experience in itself. No hustle bustle no shops being opened yet, empty streets, beautiful weather and just some fabulous architecture. I would love to just go on a cycle tour and have some one explain to me the history of these lanes (just like one I experienced in Pondi) . As far as I can understand I know these weren’t Maharashtrian houses and this seemed more like a lane where Parsis lived but the houses were just beautiful, The whites, the yellows, the wooden structures and of course this beautiful red house with pink side walls was my favourite!
This time I’ve just let my words flow and I hope you liked this post but the major highlight is the pictures and I shall let them do justice to me Painting the town Blue 😉
