Accessories can make or break a look! Agree?
I just went all out with some very unique pieces from my jewelry box (rather trunk) during my recent travels to Jaipur and everyone seems to be loving the accessories put together on my Instagram. So, I decided to do a quick Blog post on How I Accessorized my Jaipur Looks and where you can stock up from.
For an Accessory junkie like me Accessorizing is absolutely essential. Whether its a plain Jane outfit or a heavy kind of an outfit every look must be accessorized to give a personal touch. But don’t forget the key is to Accessorize Right!
TSC feels, not only should your accessories be outfit centric, your accessories need to be planned keeping in mind the place & the ambience too. Like when traveling to beachy places floral and colorful accessories look apt, whereas colder places require you to stock up on those scarves and mufflers. I would say city like places need more minimal and modern accessories whereas historic places can be accessorized vintage. Im saying, like when planning looks for the cities of the USA go more minimal and while planning a holiday to the historically rich cities of Europe, pick out vintage accessories.
For now, Lets talk about How I Accessorized my Looks in The Pink City & Where to Find these unique pieces.
PS: All the accessories below are pre-owned and not bought in Rajasthan. So you can also stock up on the same.

On day one of the trip I wanted my outfit to portray Rajasthan and I did so with the accessories. So I styled a rather plain full length dress to give it that Rajasthani touch with a cute cross body bag which also had this Rajasthani style elephant which was apt for the Jaipur Travels. Rajasthan is known for its silver jewelry so stuck to the silver cuff with a touch of color in the earrings and an all out bright sunglass (for that ‘cool’ factor). Of course a Rajasthani look is incomplete without jootis and these one’s were perfect with the Indigo effect.
I have a dhoti as a part of another outfit of mine that I decided to pair up with a flared sleeve off-shoulder top for an all out fusion look. The color combination looked stunning especially with the touch of quirky and colorful accessories.
The only jhumkas I bought in Rajasthan were these enamel jhumkas which I hadn’t actually planned to wear with this chic one shoulder top. But going with my whole fusion them, it matched so beautifully with the colors of the top that it ended up being a perfect piece of accessory for a night out at the palatial Bar Palladio.

Leaving behind the ethnic inspired looks and going for a street style inspired look was the idea for Day Three in Jaipur.
Since the outfit was quite Street Glam, it was upto the accessories completely to give it that Classic feel. The pearl drop necklace and the chunky emerald earrings did just that. Classic Desi Glam is what I would define this style as.

The day to travel back and do some serious shopping meant a very casual OOTD! Which was simply styled with just a quirky pair of earrings. A Casual day look was given a hint of quirk with the handmade pompom earrings and the boots were adding that hint of glamour. Ofcourse my signature travel accessory, the ‘Love’ bracelet (given my love for travel) looked minimal and fabulous.
The same look was then done minus the earrings and with a camo jacket for the airport.
