The festive season has commenced and now is the right time to talk about festive clothing!
TSC always has something new lined up for every festive season. So, this time around we are taking inspiration from our designers and celebrities for some Festive Dressing.
How much do you normally spend on specially getting clothes for the festive season? Do you get to actually use those clothes in their full potential? Im guessing the answer there is NO! So, how about get outfits made that are more wearable yet look dressy?
This was the first thought or rather is always the thought whenever i thinking of buying/ making festive wear outfits. Also aren’t the usual colours just way over used!?
I absolutely loved the idea of ditching the typical festive shades of reds, pinks, orange, emerald green and royal blue. Instead trying out a Grey Outfit. From Kareena’s outfit at an opening to Athiya Shetty wearing mostly greys in her latest movie Mubarakan and to most recently spotting Preity Zinta walking the ramp at the LFW in a grey number.
In terms of being wearable Grey is quite a universal colour. Grey looks fabulous on all skin tones and is even a shade that looks fabulous day or night.
How to wear Greys in Style!
Accessorize: From bling to bright colours, you can go all out with the accessories to add a little zing to a rather dull shade.
Textures: Textures really bring out the colour and give the outfit a very fashionable touch to a colour that is rather bland.
Sheer: When it comes to nets and sheer materials, grey looks absolutely fabulous. So try and pick up an outfit that has some sheer piece or even detailing.
Makeup Play: Grey is also that colour with which you can experiment with your makeup. Play it up with a heavy smokey eye or a coloured eye makeup look it keep it more classic with a winged eyeliner. Grey allows you to be bright with your makeup or even choose to be more basic.

These beautiful accessories were sent in by Poonam Sonpal from Pitara at Mumbai. It wasn’t coordinated with the outfit at all but went so well with the look and added the right touch of colour and bling to the outfit.
The outfit is purely my own and designed by Ginni Wadhwa Couture!
