Anything that has to do with a T-shirt classifies as Casual for me!
Welcome back to the ALL BLACK Series! The last post on the All Black Series was an all out Glamorous look in a playsuit dress & for all of you who missed it here is the post- Black Magic
T-shirt with denims or T-shirt with pants is obvious. But rarely do we see T-shirts and skirts paired together. A t-shirt with a skirt keeps the look both casual and feminine.
If you were to ask me what makes a look Glam? The first thing would be the Accessories and then the heels. These two elements is what I personally feel can totally transform a look.
Another element that I love throwing on to give a look a more classy dressy feel is a Jacket/ Blazer.
There is a certain charm in layering an outfit with the same colours. It actually looks like a layered look in its full meaning with just one colour all over (although if you were to layer up a look with reds it could be quite OTT!) Another advantage of layering up with blacks is that how much ever ‘bulk’ gets added to the look with layering it yet doesn’t give a bloated look! After all we know how good black is at giving a slimming effect.
TSC Styling Tip: pay keen attention to each and every element of an outfit in accordance to the look. Even one element can change the whole style of the look. For example: a colourful pair of earings can take a look from Glam to more quirky! So pick your choice and style on those lines.
If in this look I would’ve worn heels it would’ve been an all out Glam look but to keep the look more ‘Casual Glam’ I made sure to ditch the heels and wear sneakers instead (the bling on the sneakers did compensate for the glam part)

Another thing that has been very trending is Flicks. Literally every other magazine cover has models or actresses with sleek gelled back hair flicks that have been swept across the forehead or have been sculpted on the face. To achieve this wet look using a gel is a must and make sure to stick those locks of hair on the face.
The Makeup for a casual glam look should be more on the minimal side especially if you have good accessories on. Just let the outfit do the talking and lets keep the makeup more minimal so it yet retains the ‘casual’ touch. For someone like me who loves her bright lipsticks I did a more neutral colour and to make the wet effect strands I made the lips glossy too.
