What is Jojoba Oil?

Native Americans discovered the remarkable versatility of the Jojoba plant. The Jojoba (pronounced ho-ho-ba) plant’s care is minimal and this perennial shrub grows wild. The Native Americans would heat the jojoba seeds to soften them and in a mortar and pestle would grind it to create a buttery substance. This was used to heal hair and skin conditions, including sunburn.

Jojoba oil has many more benefits, do keep reading to know about it.

One Oil, Five Benefits?

The unrefined & cold pressed Satthwa Jojoba Moisturising Carrier Oil is useful in five different ways. If you’ve watched the video then you obviously know these, but if not then here goes:

  1. As a moisturizing oil for any skin type. Is especially beneficial for mature skin as it has Vitamin E, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
  2. Can also be used to remove makeup absolutely naturally with no chemicals. By makeup I even mean waterproof mascara 😀
  3. As an anti-dandruff oil treatment when mixed with the lemongrass essential oil.
  4. Good for brittle nails and to soften the cuticles.
  5. It works as a good carrier oil option for using essential oils.

Value for money?

The 50ml bottle of pure jojoba oil can easily last you 2 months (considering daily usage on the face). It costs 499 Rupees but they currently have an offer where it’s being priced at 379 Rupees.

Final Verdict?

This oil with all its benefits makes it a Must-Have at home. The Satthwa Jojoba Oil can be used by anyone and everyone in the family, for soft skin and nails and to even cure dandruff. Definitely needed for mature skin as it keeps getting dryer with age.

Personally, even though I have oily skin; loved how the oil absorbed so well into the skin and didn’t really leave the skin feeling greasy. I have been using this as a makeup remover too and as a cuticle softner too and I am quite happy with his multi purpose oil. Its my new basin buddy 😀
