Bombay Chowpatty Buffet in Pune by TBB

The Bombay Bronx, Pune recently started with the Bombay Chowpatty Buffet in the day & TSC was there to check it out 😀

Here’s a quick glance-

Firstly the buffet is priced at 349 rupees ONLY. If I was in college right now too I would definitely run to Bombay Bronx for lunch because that’s how affordable they have made the Bombay Chowpatty Buffet 😀
Keeping the price point in mind I would say the spread was pretty sizeable.

TBB made sure they added all the elements of Bombay street food right from the Salads (cold salads which included the American corn salad, Roasted bell pepper salad & Stick Salad & hot salad that included Chana masala salad), Pani puri, Sandwhiches, Tava dishes served with Pav like Pav bhaji, Khema pav & Unda bhurji. They didn’t leave the veggies out & had Tawaa Pulao too.

Despite it being so hot what kept us going were the coolers- Masala Chaas & Kokum juice. All of us couldn’t help having one glass each of them that were served to us in a chai wala tray like the men from tea stalls sell in.

For main course they had Chicken Masala, Paneer Mutter Masala, Dal Tadka & Jeera Rice which might seem less as compared to a normal buffet but the main attraction of the Bombay Chowpatty Buffet is the street food which I must say they have covered so well that I barely had place left for main course.

Also working professionals would definitely want just a light main course as I’m sure no one can go back to work & just crash on their desk :p

I very different mix of deserts were there like Gulab Jamun & Chocolate Brownies both being big favourites with different crowds of Bombay. I did eat some Gulab Jamun that was yummilicious but The Brownie OMG was just something different, its only after hogging on my third piece did I realise it must’ve been made of ghee & thats why it had such a different & rich taste ❤

Psst we also got starters which were from the regular menu & they were yummy so in case you cant get time off for lunch you definitely need to make a visit to The Bombay Bronx. Vegans you will love the Kothimir wadi, Dhokla pakoda & Batata wada 😀 & Chicken lovers are in for  a total treat with Chicken popcorn, Chicken schezwan & Unda pakoda slurp :p

Since I’ve been to TBB now so many times I selfishly have missed out on the interiors but I shall mention yet again how fun & quirky every corner of Bombay Bronx is. Really makes you feel elated once you there & its like playing a treasure game trying to spot something cool on every wall of TBB.

What I liked about the Bombay Chowpatty Buffet?

Loved the experience of street food in quirky ambience.

Quite reasonably priced for a buffet.

Their Kheema Pav really did hit the nail on the head.

Getting to eat pani puri during lunch time is definitely a refershment in this heat 😀

What disappointed me about the Bombay Chowpatty Buffet?

The sandwichs (as they call it) werent all that impressive & if you actually are a real street food lover you might not fing it to be the exact same experience as real street food.

My final verdict would definitely be to try the Bombay Chowpatty Buffet between 12pm-3pm on any day of the week & I’m sure alot of you will go back because at that price I think TBB is doing a fabulous job.

I had a blast with these Bloggers & the chatpatta buffet 😀 😀 &
