Winter Wilderness- How to Style Animal prints this Winter!

While the animals are hibernating in the winters, I’m bringing out the animal print with a bang 😉
This post is about Styling the Animal print(s) for a Winter Outfit!
True to say I’m an absolute sucker when it comes to animal prints! I thoroughly love them all. Animal print is a superb style statement that can never go old!
This month ended up being the ‘animal print loving’ period for me!
The outfit inspiration for this post was my Leopard print Skater skirt 😀 which is from the newest TRF Collection in ZARA!
The Style Chair brings to you, Five ways of Styling Animal Prints in the winters
  • Black– When it comes to the leopard print I always love teaming it with the unfailingly favourite colour- Black! Whether its black pants/ a black top/ a black skirt. I personally love the Promod Full sleeves because they have an amazing fit & are perfect for Pune winters!

  • Animal Print Footwear– Whether its flats or a pair of heels. Team your animal print outfit with a pair of animal printed footwear! Bought a pair of animal print mocassins from the Zara sale.

Even bought booties with the back in animal print having the cat fur feel! This was a steal because it looked stunning & was comfortable plus I got it at just 2500 😀 from Van Heusen.

  • Accessories– Either go with minimal accessories to keep the attention on the animal print

or wear a statement neckpiece or a plain coloured neck scarf! With a black clutch you can never go wrong with styling your animal print 🙂

Clutch from Forever New.

For all of you who think animal print is only to be brought out in the night! Well I think its hightime you bring out those cat-ty prints in the day too 😉 Whether a brunch date or a day out with your girls you can definitely make a statement in the day too, with an animal print! (without worrying about looking OTT)

The key to wearing animal prints in the day is to team it up with day wear colours or accessories. Just like how I added on an off-white tube neck scarf, that I picked up from H&M during my visit to Prague 🙂

  • Legging/Stockings– Winters means you can go on layering! So go ahead & wear a pair of black leggings or lace stockings too with your skirt/ dress.

Forever New lace stockings.

  • Woolen Cap/Hat– a chic beige or black hat does the trick with an animal print outfit! My favourite winter accessory is my painter’s cap from Forever New which also is in Leopard print ❤

Hairstyling Tip– Keep the hair messy to give the whole look a ‘wild’ feel 😉

Wear them all like I did or pick your favourite animal print piece. Whether its animal print clothing or accessories or shoes, add the animal print to your outfit this season!
I would definitely step out in this outfit for a night out catching up with my buds or even a ladies day out 😀
For the summers too I shall bring to you a post on animal print styling! Till then Follow The Style Chair for updates on new posts by clicking on the ‘Follow’ button right at the bottom of this page.
