Another Colour of the Season is here & this time around is the winter favourite shade- Blue!
Whether it’s sky blue or indigo or navy blue, winters is the season to pull out all those blues from your wardrobe 😀
This outfit post was an out and out Blue post!
This post was actually even planned out of the blue! From meeting the photographer Akhil
to planning & shooting, all was done within a day 😀
Coming back to fashion, Can you believe it! I’ve played with all the possible shades of blue I own, except for my footwear & neck-scarf (well I think we should know where to draw the line :p)
This post is about bringing out the blues to rid your winter blues. Don’t miss the winter layering as well!
If you want to keep really warm you have to cover up every exposed part of the body!
The neck & the ears really get the chill while the rest of the body is normally warm with thermal wear! Wear a neck scarf to keep the chill from getting in.
Neck scarf from XOXO Accessories
Keep the wind out of your hair & keep those ears covered too by wearing a woolen beanie or a woolen hat!
This woolen cap was a buy from Gangtok 🙂
If you are visiting a hill station in north India or know someone who is then you definitely have to own one of these! These woollen caps are certainly adorable especially with the two braided strands. Every time I wear it I feel like it’s out of some ‘Bollywood scene’.
Knee length velvet finish boots from ‘Sole to Sole’
The minute you wear knee length boots you half your legs are warm which means you can wear regular leggings & yet carry them off provided you wear a long top or a long coat.
I decided to keep the look street style & casual so I wore my Plaid shirt from Vero Moda. The length of the shirt was just as long as I wanted it to be (I normally always wear my shirts tucked in)
Tip– Winters is the season you can enjoy wearing shirts out or wear those long shirts & tops (with leggings/stockings/jeggings). Blue stockings from Forever New 🙂
For the warm feel, worn this navy blue frill cardigan by ZARA.
