The Street Style Look, part two Fall Fashion 2014 by The Style Chair
Hey Lovely ones 🙂 The Style Chair is here with it’s second look along with Protima from the Fall Fashion trends as promised 😀
Street Styles are generally associated with day looks. Comfort & an individual statement is what I feel Street Style is for me.
Street style is generally more young, easy going & has a connect with the youth. Its definitely the clothes a serious working individual Does Not wear.
Street style is about mixing & matching and a more casual outlook. There are no hard & fast rules with street styling 😀
I chose the most favourite warm shades from the Fall fashion Palette for myself- Maroon/ Oxblood & Tan!
The first option for this look was this Maroon crop top from Zara. I love how the tops lighter fabric just takes shape well once worn & yet doesn’t cling.
Paired with the exact shade of maroon for my lips– Maybelline super stay 14hrs lipstick ‘Enduring Ruby’
Since its street style & effortless means minimal makeup, Minimal fuss for me would be a champagne shadow for the eye lid with a dark brown eyeshadow on the crease line & a cat eyeliner. (Do just the cat eyeliner if you really want to go minimal)
Top knot is The most perfect hairstyle for a Street style, giving the style that little edge at the same time doesn’t look so structured & made up!
So bad hair day or not sport a Top knot for that street style touch 😉
Accessorising your top knot is what totally ups the amp! Accessories always give it that touch of uniquesness (just like how we all remember Audrey Hepburn’s little broach in her updo )
Tan & Skater Skirts
From the lighter tones associated with Fall Tan is an absolute favourite whether its boots, cardigans, coats, pants or even skirts.
What I personally love about skater skirts for the fall is that you can team it Beautifully with a pair of leggings (or just wear it as it is on the slightly warmer days). Skater skirts look great with waist length jackets & even an overcoat.
The reason I can’t wait for the summers & monsoons to get over is to pull out my Boots! Whenever wearing boots with a skirt you have all the options of boots to wear them with! Especially Skater Skirts can be teamed with ankle length boots, cow boy boots, uggs & even knee high boots.
You definitely need a black pair, tan pair, red/ maroon pair of boots to complete your fall & winter wardrobe but collect them slowly & in different lengths.
Street Style for me is all about unique but minimal accessories. Already making a Fall street style statement with my ankle length boots I decided for a change to leave my neck bare!
Going with the whole colour palette of my look my obvious choice was gold accessories!
The lion accessories have been making quite a statement as well as the midi rings so I let my hands have all the fun this time around.
Midi rings from Mumbai Colaba causeway, Lion cuff with spike ring from House of Bling (online) & Of course my Leaf hair comb with chain placed under my top knot. On the ears have worn oversized gold bling studs from Forever 21.
So if you are not the Chic-y kinds then no fear we have Protima here posing with our Second Fall Street Style look 😀
The minute I hit the malls this moth all I could see all over whether it was Zara, Forever New, Promod, Vero moda & even Also Accessories were knit, fur &woollen neck scarves 🙂
The most essential accessory for the Fall Street Style has to be a neck scarf.
Protima has worn a round neck scarf (from the USA) simply wrapped around her neck twice.
Ripped Jeans are definitely the Rockstars from a Street style look whatever maybe the season 🙂
Protima of course just owned the look especially with her ripped denims.
So Hang on to them & even team them up with boots for the Fall/ Winter!
Cardigans have been made Only for the Fall (or Pune winters). So if you love cardigans go out there and choose your pick from the various colours, prints & styles (available at Stores like Zara, Promod & Vero Moda)
Very street, very effortless! A high pony always gives a fun & uber stylish touch to the look & here I have kept a slight puff on the top of the head too (to give the whole look a little more height)
Big thank you again to Mehr Bhalla for the Photography she was just so smooth with the whole shoot & absolutely understood what I wanted for the Blog posts, Do check her work out- Mehr Bhalla Photography.
Wait wait this isn’t the end! Theres still one more look for the Fall Fashion coming up yet 😀
Be Yourself & Shine On ❤
