Hello Beautiful people 🙂
It’s an all new month, an all new season! I know I might be going all Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City) by saying this but I am so excited for the Fall season 😀
An all new season means new Fashion & a lot more to look forward to 🙂
Todays Post is all about Fall ❤
I’m not just emulating the Americans but as a matter of fact Pune’s winter is exactly what the Americans call ‘Fall’ :p
The Style Chair has gone all out to help you plan your wardrobe for the Fall/ Indian Winters 😉
While everyone was out enjoying the long weekend, The Style Chair too went big with this shoot in collaboration with my Lifestyle Blogger friend Protima Tiwary, young talented Photographer Mehr Bhalla & an amazing Location- The Olive Bistro (happens to be my favourite place for Italian food in Pune)
The First look for Fall Fashion put together by The Style Chair is-
Girls Night-out Look!
Girls Night out needless to say spells fashion, fun, gossip & being able to be yourself.
Fall Trends are Big on-
A staple feature with the onset of Fall is Fur/ Shearlings. Faux Fur is synthetic fibres made to look like fur. I love this Knit Jacket from Zara because it is 3/4th sleeve hence not making it too warm & of course I had bought it for the Fur Neck. Play around with Knit jackets & use them as throws too 🙂
Grey tones & Metallics
Fall is generally associated with darker hues, graduating from light shades of the summer to darker shades of winter, Grey is the Happiest colour 🙂
Pair them greys with silver metallics & even hint of bright colours to jazz up your grey attire!
Silver Accessories, silver-grey eyes are quite ‘the thing’ this season, as Winters is always associated with cooler tones.
For my Makeup I chose a burgandy shade for contouring my cheeks, Light pink on the apple of my cheeks for the pop of colour on my skin.
Eye Makeup– Silver shadow for the inner half of the eye & the outer half a metallic grey shadow well blended! Line the eyes with a little bit of kohl & coat on a lot of mascara & Voila 🙂
Berry, cherry, burgandy, plum, wine, ox-blood & nude shades are some of these season’s favourite Lip colours.
I’ve flaunted all of the above shades except purple hues, so thought of experimenting with a dark wine plum lip colour from Avon called Oxford wine & it was instant love, teamed with a deep plum lip liner for this look.
The Violet Pencil skirt from Koovs.com gave the outfit that pop of colour & complimented my makeup too. Do keep your Pencil skirts at the top of your shelves too this Fall 🙂
To add some razzle dazzle, used my Oh! so feminine & delicate Bow earrings (Forever New)
With the clothes we wear we flaunt different characteristics of ourselves!
My Look here has evidently been Vampish yet Fashionably Elegant.
HAIR for this look has been kept up to show off the Fur jacket & put up into a textured bun to give it that effortlessly fun, flirtatious & elegant touch.
Fall is a transition from summer to winter. The Style Chair doesn’t recommend you to go out & get a whole new Fall wardrobe but also how to mix the summer & winter trends 🙂
Working with Protima was very simple cause I know her personality & styled her accordingly with a easy going grunge-ish look 🙂
For all of you who aren’t fans of the whole Bordeaux look try these fall fashion trends.
Neutral toned makeup, with toffee/chocolate brown lipstick is perfect for those who prefer being more sombre & goes well with the look created for Protima.
Messy hair & lots of Kohl on the eyes gives the whole look a grunge feel, especially with the Leather jacket addition.
Protima‘s first choice were these Wedge heels beacuse they are comfortable for a crazy girls night out & Oh! they definitely are envouge. Wedge heels are also the only heels I feel you can comfortably carry off in the day (without looking OTT) & at night 😀 So all you girls who don’t want to look so dainty with those stiletos go grab some Wedge heels this Season!
Tan Wedges by Forever New, Tan Leather Jacket by Bershka (Croatia)
Tan Leather Jacket
Another major staple for the Fall is Leather jackets. Tan jackets are a must have after you get a black one 😉
Tan looks absolutely beautiful styled with whites, black & even maroon! Sticking to the grey area well we did a B&W look with the Tan Jacket & Heels.
Maxi Dresses are all about flowy silhouettes & comfort, Protima‘s easy breezy attitude carried the maxi dress off so well & she was in her comfort zone.
So don’t ditch your maxi dresses this fall, Just team them with a Leather Jacket 🙂
