The Pujo Special

As Promised I’m here with a Look for the Durgotsava 🙂

Festivals in Simple terms is about Meeting your Loved ones, Dressing up & Sweet Delicacies.

Festival time for us Ladies is All the more Fun because we get to Dress Up in Different Traditional Clothes, Which all of us undeniably Love ❤

First thing we think of when we here of Durgotsava is Bengalis 🙂

I’m a Punjabi & actually a hardcore cosmo girl, So I’m completely Aloof of the Actual Bengali dressing! But Who doesn’t associate Big Round Bindis & Gorgeous Almond Eyes with Begalis!?! Taking exactly these Que’s I’ve Created this Look for Durga Puja.

Typical Bengali Attires involve the Red & White combination whether its their bangles or bindis or even sarees.

Since I’m Unmarried I’ve used Shades of Pink instead of red!

I’ve actually yet kept a little Punjabi-ness alive in this Look by using My Fuschia Dupatta that has a Phulakri work border.

I don’t really own Bindi’s, But I’m an Artist 🙂 So Believe it or not I Have Created the Bindi! I first used a Lip pencil to draw out the whole Bindi & To match the Colour with my Dupatta I mixed two Lipstick shades & applied with a Lipbrush.

Whats a Look without any Accessories!!

Worn the most Trending style of Earings- Chand Balis on my ears (bought from Colaba Causeway, Mumbai) &

This Dual Coloured Clutch (by LocaChicaFashion) also looked so Fabulous with the Attire, Infact I think it would Match with most of our Indian Outfits 🙂

 Makeup for The Look

Top Right- Kryolan Smokey Eye Palette Bottom- Avon Kohl (Brown Black)

My Eye Make-up is basically Smoked Eyes with a lot of Kohl on the Upper & Lower Lash lines. I Have already done a post on The Smoked Eye Look, To Refresh the Smoke eye look Click→ HERE

For my Lips I’ve used the MAC ‘Craving’ Lippie (this is my oldest MAC Lipstick)

HAIR- Half Pin Up

Get a Blow-dry or Light Waves(will give your Hair a Dressy Look) Done at a Salon.

Pin them up Half way by Taking a Box section on the Crown, Tease(backcomb it) & create a Puff!

Tease the Hair on the Sides from the Back, Lift it up & Pin at the Crown.

The Front should look Evenly Puffed. Keep the Rest of the Hair Length on One Side or on Both Sides.

Hope you liked the Post? I Have had a Blast Creating this Bong Look 😉

 !Om Sri Durgaya Namah!

Happy Navaratri & a very Happy Dussera to All ❤
